(WHAS11) -- Emergency crews took a 6-year-old boy to an area hospital with minor injuries after he was hit bar a car.
That accident happened before 9:00 in the 3900 block of Cane Run Road when the child was crossing the street to get to his school bus.
According to a WHAS11 crew on the scene, the boy was transported in an ambulance, but it did not have its lights or siren on. We're told the injuries are not serious.
It's not known at this time if the driver is facing any charges.
