CHARLESTOWN, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Residents of a Charlestown, Ind. neighborhood will make one last effort to change the minds of the of city leaders Monday evening.
Residents of the Pleasant Ridge subdivision said they are worried they will be forced out of their homes after the city announced plans to improve blighted areas of the community.
Pleasant Ridge has been part of the community since World War II and many of the residents living in the subdivision are elderly.
The city council meeting begins at 6:30 at City Hall on Main Cross Street.
