LAGRANGE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Humane Society of Oldham County is offering a $500 reward for any information about the poisoning of at least six cats at an abandoned apartment complex in La Grange.
Investigators with the Oldham County Animal Control tell WHAS11 that the cats were found at a complex on Anchor Avenue and Dawkins Road. Officials found what they believe was a bowl of tuna laced with antifreeze.
Officials say the cats were foaming at the mouth. Three cats died and three others had to be euthanized.
The Human Society of Oldham County says that they have been to the abandoned complex before several times to spay and neuter dozens of cats.
