LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The University of Louisville will host a regional despite losing in the American Athletic Conference championship game Sunday afternoon.
This according to a tweet from NCAA Baseball that was posted Sunday evening.
The fifth ranked Cardinals (43-13) were regular season chapions of the AAC. Seeding for the tournament will be released Monday, May 26 at noon eastern time during the selection show on ESPNU.
This marks the second consecutive year UofL will host a regional and the fifth time in eight years. Regional games will begin Friday, May 30.

Tickets for the entire regional are on sale immediately, single session tickets go on sale starting Friday at 9 a.m.
