LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- David Camm spent nearly 13 years in prison for a crime that, yesterday, he was found not guilty of, but according to the Innocence Project, he will not be receiving any compensation for the time he spent behind bars.

Indiana is one of 21 states that do not have statutes in place to compensate a person who has been wrongfully convicted of a crime and sent to prison.

Kentucky also does not have a compensation statute.
