Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Teenagers and college-aged people are at the highest risk for depression and suicide.

Since 2006, eight Bullitt County teenagers have committed suicide.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will sponsor a campus walk to raise awareness on April 6.

The walk is also the senior project of North Bullitt student Skyler Kallin, whose cousin committed suicide two years ago.

Citizens are invited to attend the walk, which will begin at 1 p.m. in Shepherdsville City Park.
