LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Police’s bomb squad was called to Frost Middle School Thursday morning after fireworks were found on the property.

School officials say they found the firecracker wrapped inside a toilet paper roll with a b.b. gun pellets inside.

It was discovered by a school employee Wednesday night and safely removed this morning.

No students were in danger and no one has been charged.
