(WHAS11) -- Over our 21 years of helping young people find adult matches for Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, we've dropped in on relationships that have lasted more than a decade and some that are just beginnning.
As new matches are made through Big Brothers-Big Sisters it often takes time for each big and little to get to know one another, but WHAS11 found one exception with a retired UPS pilot and his new little brother.
The conversation turns to the news and sports easily for these two and the two month pairing is already a hit.
Tom O’Sullivan is a retired UPS pilot who long ago adopted Louisville. He says Sean Glenn is an amazing little brother.
“He's a great kid…he may be steering me, I'm not sure,” O’Sullivan said.
For Sean, a 15-year-old Central High School student, big brothers came at the right time.
All you need to give is a few hours a month, but we've found, the bigs and littles love it so much they turn over much more of their time.
If you want to help a young person become a great adult, call right now. They are in their Louisville office at this hour, by the phones ready to get you started.
