LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – School bells are beginning to ring around the area as new semesters begin.
Move-in day for Bellarmine’s class of 2017 has set a new record with more than 680 freshmen attending this fall. Most of the students will live on campus.
According to Bellarmine, students attending the college will be coming from 23 states with 39 percent of the class coming from outside Kentucky.
“We are growing leaps and bounds and continuing to grow and people still want to be a part of our community and be a Bellarmine Knight. We’re very excited about that,” Leslie Maxie-Ashford said.
Bellarmine heads back to class on August 22.
