LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- It looks like a typical practice for the Ballard Bruins but looks can be deceiving.

Players are only able to use half the court because the other half is still drying out.

Fans, heaters, humidifiers are all in overdrive to speed up the process.

Ice, snow, rain and a leak in the roof damaged the floor, which was not in the game plan during the basketball season.

The coach of the girls’ team said it’s like walking on wavy potato chips.

So no more home games at Ballard for the rest of the season, the floor will be replaced.

Senior night for both the girls and boys this Friday will be played at Bellarmine University.

Jayvonna Layfield, a Ballard senior, is pleased to have a home for the game but it's not exactly home, home.

She says it’s kind of a bummer, but does have a good memory of the last home game breaking the 1,000 point mark.

Memories made in their gym with new ones to come they hope at Bellarmine.

And for seniors like Kelan Martin and Quentin Snider who will attend UofL next year. The faithful home crowd will follow them anywhere for senior night.

Snider said the rowdies will follow them anywhere!

Tip off for the girls’ senior game on Friday at Bellarmine is at 6, the boys will play at 7:30.
