LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville mother is in trouble with the law after she allowed juveniles to smoke marijuana at her home in the 2900 block of Pindell Avenue.

56-year-old Brenda Travis is facing 4 counts of unlawful transactions with a minor after a narcotics search warrant revealed she allowed a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old to smoke marijuana on the second floor of her home.

Officers also revealed Travis’ 22-year-old son was selling marijuana and also preparing to inject himself with heroin when they were on the scene.

Travis could face additional charges due to her home being 1000 feet from St. Stephen Martyr school.
