LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The public could soon know more about a sexual assault case one day after a judge ruled to open the court records.
Savannah Dietrich, 17, made national headlines when she was threatened with jail time because she tweeted the names of two boys who sexually assaulted her. Dietrich was upset with the punishment in a plea deal.
Attorneys for the two boys in the case say they will no longer fight to keep the files closed and they are withdrawing their motion.
This could mean the file is released to the public soon. WHAS11's Karma Dickerson will have more on this story throughout the evening.
