LOUISVILLE, Ky --  More than one thousand cardinal fans gathered at Cardinal Boulevard  after the team's Final Four victory over Wichita State.

Fans were jumping up and down cheering. Some were also on the verge of tears. Many say they are more than confident the Cards will take home the championship.

As of 11:15 Saturday evening, Louisville Metro Police say they have made six arrests. Five people were arrested for disorderly conduct and another for menacing.

The view from SKY11 showed crowds forming on Cardinal Boulevard on campus and also in the West End of Louisville.

One person was shot in his side and those injuries are believed to be non life-threatening. Police have not said if that shooting, which happened after 9:00 Saturday evening in the 400 block of 26th Street, was celebration related.
