LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Police have made an arrest following the robbery and shooting of a woman outside a St. Matthews cafe Friday morning.

Police said Anthony McKinley and an unknown co-defendant robbed two women of personal items around 3:00 Friday morning outside Merdian Cafe at 112 Meridian Avenue. When one of the women fought back, that unknown co-defendant allegedly shot her in the arm.

The woman ran to nearby Saints Pub for help and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said McKinley was arrested Saturday afternoon after trying to use a stolen debit card.

The alleged shooter is still on the loose. Anyone with information is asked to call 574-LMPD.

Anthony McKinley is charged with robbery.
