Just call it, "snow fatigue." Many people around Kentuckiana say they're ready for winter to just go away already!

Salt, snow, repeat and do it six times. That's how many weather events Kentuckiana has seen since January 1st.

We've had 15 1/2 inches of snow, which is more than the norm for an entire year not including what's to come Sunday night through Tuesday.

Depending on how you look at it, it can be fun. Many kids have taken advantage of those snow days at Cherokee Park.

Or, it can be very inconvenient.  So we asked a few people, "has 'snow fatigue' hit you yet?"

"It only comes once a year, during the winter months and you know it's fun to play, kids love to play in it... sledding and all that," said Scott Conn.

"You're not tired of shoveling or maneuvering your way through it when you're driving?" asked WHAS11 News Reporter Adrianna Hopkins.

"I never said I wasn't tired of shoveling. But, no, I enjoy it," said Conn.

"How do you feel about the snow?" Hopkins asked Kyle Fields.

"I don't like it," said Fields.

"You're dressed for it," said Hopkins.

"Yeah, this thing's warm, you know, but I just rather not have to wear it," he said.

"Is it because it's cold? Because it's inconvenient?" Hopkins asked.

"Usually I walk to work because it's a lot more convenient, and it's been kind of a pain in the butt to do that lately, so," said Fields.

"We love it. It brings money to our pockets," said David Campbell and Chris Hamilton.

"You're not cold?" Hopkins asked.

"No we love it," they said.

"As far as you're concerned summer can just hold off?"

"I don't know about that... but... We like boating to, so," said Campbell.

At the rate we're going we might have to all just get used to the snow being around for a while.
