LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The local chapter of the American Red Cross is helping those who were directly hit by the tornadoes in the Midwest.

Ten people left Kentucky on Tuesday, and made their way to Oklahoma, where 24 people have been confirmed dead, including children.
