(WHAS11) -- The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (APCD) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) issued an Air Quality Alert for the Kentuckiana area.
An Air Quality Alert was declared for Ozone in SE Indiana/ Louisville for Tuesday, July 22. Ozone is expected to reach 105 on the Air Quality Index, Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.
Sensitive Groups include children, older adults, active adults, and anyone with heart and/or lung ailments.

• Share a ride.
• Delay your mowing
• Combine your errands.
• Check on neighbors with breathing problems.
