LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – An accident involving a child care van at First and Oak has injured 10 people.

MetroSafe says the injuries are all minor. According to Alicia Smiley, with the LMPD, 10 children were taken to Kosair on an EMS bus and two other adults refused treatment.

A Toyota Camry rear ended the child care van. The driver of the Camry did not have insurance so the driver was cited.

The driver of the van and the driver of the Camry both refused medical attention.

The LMPD has cleared the scene of the accident.
