CARROLLTON, Ky -- In 1998, ten years after the Carroll Co. bus crash, WHAS11’s Melissa Swan reported on those who lost loved ones and first responders who tried to save lives the night of May 14, 1988.
Patty Nunnallee was the youngest crash victim. Her Mother went on to be National President of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and did much of her work from their Florida home near where Patty is buried.
First responders including a Kentucky state trooper and an EMT talk about receiving the call after America’s worst drunk driving crash.
