FLORENCE, Ky. (AP) — The funeral for a northern Kentucky Marine killed in Afghanistan has been scheduled for Monday.
The military said 25-year-old Lance Cpl. Adam D. Peak of Florence died Sunday in combat in Helmand province.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST Sunday at Holbrook Student Center at Thomas More College, where Peak was a graduate. The funeral is at 10 a.m. Monday at Lakeside Presbyterian Church with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
