FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — A family advocacy group is objecting to a photographic exhibit of nude women and girls planned for display at the University of Louisville next week as part of a health program.
Kent Ostrander, executive director of the Family Foundation of Kentucky, harshly criticized the exhibit, which includes more than 100 nude photographs by Wyoming photographer Frank Cordelle. Some of the photographs are of children.
Cordelle said he has exhibited the photos at colleges and universities at least 65 times, including three previous times in Kentucky, largely without controversy.
The University of North Carolina-Wilmington ordered the nude photos of children removed from the exhibit when it was displayed there last year.
