The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer reports that 46-year-old Suba Singh was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 10:06 a.m. CST Monday morning.

Daviess County Coroner Bob Howe says Singh died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was also shot in the wrist. Singh was shot during a robbery early Monday morning at the Bon Harbor Shell on U.S. 60. Singh called 911 to report the shooting and was taken to the hospital.
