LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — The University of Kentucky will offer swine flu immunizations to all students and employees.
WKYT-TV quoted university officials who said a walk-in clinic will be operated Thursday at the University Health Services building from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The station reported the Fayette County Health Department gave UK 2,000 doses of the nasal mist form of the serum.
University health officials encourage students and staff to get vaccinated.
Meanwhile, Louisville public health officials were holding a swine flu vaccination clinic Wednesday at Papa John's stadium. The Courier-Journal reported that about 4,000 people had gotten vaccinated by noon.
