LIBERTY, Ky. (AP) — Police in central Kentucky have arrested a fugitive from Ohio, saying he struck a school bus with his car, then drove off.
WKYT-TV in Lexington reported the arrest of Matthew Hall, who authorities in Casey County said rear-ended a bus carrying Head Start program students in Liberty. Authorities said the driver then took off.
The car carrying Hall and his passenger Patrick O'Bryant was found in the nearby town of Yosemite (YOH'-seh-myt) where police arrested them at a convenience store.
Both men face a variety of charges. The driver was charged with DUI.
The bus passengers were examined at a hospital, but none were seriously injured.
Authorities said Hall has several outstanding DUI warrants in Ohio.
