Brown County worried about impact of Opry's loss

NASHVILLE, Ind. (AP) -- Business owners in southern Indiana's Brown County are worried about a loss of visitors following the fire that destroyed the Little Nashville Opry concert hall.

A sold-out weekend of Opry shows would bring about 4,000 people to Nashville, and community leaders are looking to find new sites for scheduled November concerts by Loretta Lynn and George Jones.

Brown County Volunteer Fire Department spokesman Mark Imhoff said investigators were still working to determine what caused Saturday night's fire, but had no immediate reason to believe it wasn't accidental.

Employees at Nashville's Muddy Boots Cafe say the Opry fire has been on everybody's minds. Jessica McKinley worries that it might have trickle-down effect on other businesses.
