(WHAS11) - A ten member negotiating team is hearing what the Kentuckiana community thinks about the Ohio River Bridges project.
The group held their first meeting Tuesday.
The team is made up of Kentucky and Indiana business leaders whose goal is to determine if a bi-state authority should be created.
They will look at the $4 billion plan and the history of the bridges also.
One community leader says this project needs to get moving and the jobs need to be created now.
The negotiating team must recommend to both governors' that they form the bi-state authority soon.
The authority must hold its first meeting by November 1st, according to a law passed in June.
