People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, has a new campaign against fast food giant McDonald's that's catching a lot of attention.

The campaign features what PETA calls "unhappy meals" that show various images of a less-than-friendly Ronald McDonald.

Some of the images show Ronald McDonald wielding a knife or an ax with what appears to be blood on his clothes.

PETA claims that McDonald's uses inhumane methods to kill animals in its food-making process.

What do you think about these images? Are they crossing the line?
