Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Kentucky Derby museum officials say they are still drying out from the flood waters.

The museum's basement sustained most of the damage with ten inches of water and about 100 pieces of the museum's collection had to be repaired or restored.

Museum officials say they are still cutting out dry wall and will have someone come in soon to inspect.

The Kentucky Derby museum remains closed until further notice.
