Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - There's been a delay in the first court appearance of the driver behind the wheel of a stolen car that crashed killing four teenagers in Old Louisville. He was scheduled for a detention hearing Monday morning.

16-year-old Herbert Lee is charged with four counts of murder, evading police and auto theft.

Police say four other teens were in the stolen vehicle with Lee when he crashed after a short pursuit at First and Hill Street.

Three brothers, Jemar, Demar and Marc Claybrooks died as did their friend Arron Shields.

The teenagers got into the car after leaving a Youth Alive event.

WHAS11 News was told that the victims didn't know the car was stolen.
