(WHAS11) - Bernard King pled guilty on Monday to charges of not having a motorcycle operator's license and not having insurance in a wreck that killed Brandie Chadwell and her unborn child.

Chadwell's parents say King caused their daughter's death

The Shively police officer who responded to the crash did not obtain a blood sample to test for drugs from King, something the Shively police chief has apologized for.

Sentencing is set for December 16th, King has been released on his own recognizance.
