LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Crews are out in Kentucky looking at damage from a storm that spawned at least one confirmed tornado on Friday, causing minor injuries and high winds and hail.
John Denman, with the National Weather Service in Louisville, said they expect to confirm later Saturday that a tornado hit in southeast Lincoln County, about 80 miles southeast of Louisville.
Denman said it's too early to tell how strong or how far the storm was, but weather service officials are on the scene assessing damage.
In southwestern Kentucky, a tornado was confirmed near the community of Mannington where it destroyed a mobile home and injured two people.
