LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Leaders of a Louisville youth group say they will conduct an internal review of circumstances surrounding the deaths of four teens.
Leaders of Youth Alive announced at a media conference Tuesday morning that they will begin their investigation next week.
Three brothers-twins Jemar and Demar, and Marc Claybrooks-and Aaron Shields were taken to an event by a Youth Alive van, but afterward caught a ride with a 16-year-old driving a Honda Accord.
The boys' parents says the van was full.
The driver of the Honda Accord reportedly sped away after being stopped by police, and the car slammed into a tree several blocks away, killing the four passengers. Police have not identified the juvenile driver, who is facing four counts of murder.
