Another frustrating hurdle for the unemployed- the state phone line they must call to OK their next unemployment check has been down because of the high volume of calls.
State officials say the phone line is open 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. plus 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sundays and urge them to keep calling.
