General Electric is laying off more workers. The GE Big Consumer and Industrial Unit, based in Louisville, is laying off salaried, white collar workers worldwide.
GE says it will save 3% by consolidating jobs, not replacing retirees and layoffs.
Nearly 100 workers have been laid off in Louisville since last year.
