(WHAS11) -December wasn't kind to Ford dealers across the nation.
Sales for the auto-maker tumbled 32%.
Ford sales for all of 2008 fell 21% from 2007 figures, yet the auto giant is in third place when it comes to losses.
Sales for Toyota fell 37%, while sales for Honda were down 35%.
It's not as bad as analysts expected.
They predicted auto sales across the board to drop up to 40% in December as consumers remain uncertain about the economy and their jobs.
