3 children released to grandmother following meth lab bust

Three children taken into custody of social services after a meth lab bust have been released to their grandmother.

Their parents, Timothy and Heather Ruth were arraigned this morning.

Both are charged with making meth and child endangerment.

Police went to their home to serve an outstanding warrant on Timothy Ruth Wednesday night. They say they discovered a meth lab in the basement of the Whitney avenue home.

There were three children under 12 inside the home.

Police say they didn't find any meth inside but it had been made recently
