LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Police in Louisville arrested a fourth suspect in the fatal shooting of Paul Barber.

Police arrested Timothy Cross, 23, Saturday evening.  Police said Cross, along with three other suspects, unlawfully entered an apartment at 6800 Crawford Crossing Plaza and demanded drugs, money and phones.  Police said Barber tried to flee, but was chased down and shot multiple times by the four men.

Wednesday night, the first suspect, 21-year-old Shakahakeen Boyd, was arrested at Terry Road and Lower Hunters Trace. He was arraigned Friday morning, Aug. 16. His bond is set at $500,000.

The second suspect is 21-year-old Jevon Curry. He was arrested after the intense shootout with police in the McDonald’s parking lot at the corner of Greenwood Road and Terry Road. Detectives were watching him when they walked up to his car and police say he opened fire.  A woman with him was injured but she is OK and not facing any charges.

The third suspect, Charles A. Washington, was arrested Thursday afternoon.  The 20-year-old was stopped during a routine traffic stop at Johnsontown Road and Greenbelt Highway.

“He pulled that individual over.  He was diligent and recognized that individual as a person that was wanted in connection for that home invasion. Once our detectives got involved it led to charges later in the evening,” LMPD Sergeant Robert Biven said.

All four men are charged with murder, robbery, and burglary.
