3 accused of trafficking heroin in Carroll County

Josh Smith; Aaron Johnson, 26; and Sydney Carder, 19, were arrested and charged with trafficking heroin, cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

SANDERS, Ky. (WHAS11)   - Three people were arrested May 12 after Troopers discovered they were trafficking heroin out of a home at 2419 Ghent Eagle South in Sanders, Ky.

Troopers from KSP Post 5 went to the home to serve a warrant for the possession of marijuana on Joshua Smith, 21. Once in the home, Troopers located Smith along with drug related paraphernalia.

A search warrant was obtained and during the search of the home, Troopers discovered heroin, syringes, six marijuana plants and other drug paraphernalia.
