(WHAS11) – Homearama is going green.

All 10 of this year's homes are energy star qualified.

Homearama opened Saturday in the Shakes Run neighborhood in Eastwood.

Dozens of people checked out the latest in home decor and design.

These homes feature open floor plans, the latest in technology and beautiful views.

“You're going to notice as you walk through the home a lot of glass in the back of these houses because you're looking at meadows. You're looking at tree canopies. Some homes even overlook a lake. So, it really is a beautiful way to come home and relax,” Tara Brinkmoeller, Director of Public Affairs and Communications of Home builders Association of Louisville, said.

The homes range in price from $400,000 to $600,000 and you can tour the homes through July 25.
