LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—Chickens were present at a Matt Bevin campaign stop in Louisville on Friday night.

Two people dressed in chicken suits holding an “M-I-T” sign tried to get into the event, but were blocked by Bevin supporters.

The chicken duo was spotlighting Bevin’s recent appearance at a cockfighting rally that he claimed he did not know the purpose of.

Bevin has also stated that he was educated at M-I-T, but has since been found to have just attended a seminar at the university.

He made no remarks about the chicken costumes, instead focusing on the VA Hospital.
