A 14-year-old girl is the latest person charged in the murder of a man who police still cannot identify.
The girl, Devon Renee Peterson, was indicted Wednesday and charged as an adult.
Police put out a notice in December asking the public to help them identify the murder victim.
More than four months later, they still don't know who he is but his life may be part of the reason.
Four months after his death, Michelle Grogean says she still thinks about the man who was killed in her apartment complex, Preston Oaks.
She said, "It definitely had me nervous, a little unsettled. If I had enough money at the time I definitely would have moved."
On December 3rd, 2009, police found a man shot, several times, inside his Preston Oaks Apartment near Preston Highway.
A few days later, four people were arrested.
Three men, Jonathan Downs, Keith Fowler and Cedrick Johnson were all charged with murder.
Wednesday, 14-year-old Devon Renee Peterson was indicted and charged as an adult with complicity to murder.
While prosecutors won't say what they think her role in the murder was, they believe the motive was robbery.
Police found a picture of the victim on his cell phone but the name on his cell phone account turned out to be a fake.
So was the name on his bank account.
Police hope someone recognized the picture, it’s their best chance for finding out who he is.
