SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- An agency is hiring 1,400 temporary workers for Amazon's warehouses in Shepherdsville.
Kelly Services said the jobs pay $9 to $9.75 per hour, depending on the shift.
Workers also receive a hot meal during each shift and snacks/food is available in vending machines where items cost 25 cents or are free.
The positions are expected to last up to six months, but temp employees may be hired for a permanent position with Amazon.
