LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)- World Water Day is coming up Tuesday. It was created by the United Nations to encourage communities to become more aware of water needs around the world.
On Monday morning, Edge Outreach and the Louisville Water Company gave WHAS11 a sneak preview of Water Works, a new exhibit at the Frazier International History Museum.
It showcases new technology from Edge Outreach to deliver clean drinking water around the world.
It features a 12-foot barrel and a hand pumping system to purify water over longer distances.
Admission to the Frazier Museum is free on Tuesday, but visitors are encouraged to donate to Edge's “Drop in the Bucket” campaign.
The Water Works exhibit will be at the Frazier Museum through May 1.
