1 firefighter injured, 2 treated for heat exhaustion on the scene of Okolona fire

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS)--Three firefighters were treated at the scene of an apartment fire in Okolona.

Firefighters said the fire broke out at the Indian Oaks Apartments just after midnight Wednesday.

Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion after battling the flames for about an hour and another firefighter was treated for blisters on his hands after he touched a hot stair railing.

The person living in the apartment where the fire started was not home.

Firefighters will investigate to find out what sparked the fire.
