HARDIN CO., Ky. (WHAS11)-- A third accident in two weeks has occurred on Deckard School Road.

Kentucky State Police responded to an accident at 4:55 p.m. on July 4 at the intersection of Deckard School Road and Patriot Parkway.

One victim was airlifed to the hospital, but police said the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

On Thursday 37-year-old Richard Lawler was killed when a vehicle driven by Michael Friedrich crossed the center line and slammed into Lawler on his motorcycle near Wilson.

Friedrich was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His passenger was airlifed to University of Louisville Hospital.

Back on June 23, another person was killed in a wreck at the same intersection of Deckard School Road and Patriot Parkway.

A Ford Mustang collided with a pick-up truck in the intersection. Four people were airlifed to University of Louisville Hospital, where one later died.
