Two men are behind bars, all thanks to the help of a homeowner who held one suspect at bay before police arrived.

19-year-old Christopher Haire is charged with theft, burglary and receiving stolen property.

Police say they were called to a break in at Templeton Drive in southern Jefferson County and the caller says he saw Haire and 18-year-old Christopher Tandy driving in a stolen Jeep from his neighbor’s driveway.

Police say when they arrived the caller was holding Haire at gunpoint.
