(WHAS11) - A murder victim's family is upset the suspect was able to get out of jail after posting just $5,000.

Now the administrative office of the courts is looking into how it happened.

Judge Katie King set the bond for Gary Lindsey junior at $50,000 for an assault charge and he had to post 10% to get out.

What the administrative office wants to know is whether Judge King knew Lindsey was also facing a murder charge.

The victim's family members, who don't want to be identified, say they don't understand why Lindsey is out of jail.

After the review, the court may set a higher bond for Lindsey but his attorney says it's not necessary, because Lindsey's never missed a court hearing.
