Man accused of killing 2-year-old being held without bond

(WHAS11) A man accused of killing a 2-year-old is being held without bond this afternoon.
 
26-year-old Jason Hensely is charged with the murder of 2-year-old Jacob Lord, his girlfriends son.
 
The boy died at Kosair Children's Hospital Wednesday night from a head injury.
 
His grandmother says Hensley and Jacob's mother had been dating for a few months.
 
Hensley is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on January 4th.
 
The trial is scheduled to begin on April 19th.

I read on another news that the grandmother and mom were aware that every time he went to this guys house he came back hurt ? People have got to stop waiting til something like this happens before they step in and do something. God bless the family and know he is holding your little boy in his safe arms now.
