Two Kentucky soldiers who served in Iraq and Afghanistan are filing suit against two military contractors accusing them of exposing them to toxic fumes.

The suit was filed in Louisville by Air Force Sgt. Sean Stough of Stanton and Charles Hicks of Bellevue, Kentucky.

The suit alleges that Houston-based Halliburton company and KBR Inc. burned everything from human remains to tires in open air pits.

KBR says they deny the allegations and follow military regulations on the disposal of waste.

About 30 similar suits have been filed in 30 states including one filed by southern Indiana National Guard troops that we featured in a story earlier this month.
