(WHAS11) - The Gibson Guitar Company is in trouble with federal investigators, accused of using protected wood to make guitars.
 

Federal agents stormed the Gibson guitar plant in Nashville Tuesday.
 

They say Gibson is under investigation for allegedly importing protected wood from Madagascar.
 

Environmentalists say guitars were made from ebony and rosewood trees.
 

Agents seized guitars, wood and other items.
 

No charges have been filed.

A better title for this article might have been; "Gibson Guitar Company hears the blues after Federal agents seize guitars"
